DIY Frosted Vases
DIY Frosted Vases
By: Katie Neely
My sister got married this past weekend and we made these frosted vases for her centerpieces. This is a great way to make something inexpensive look like a million bucks!
What you need:
- Glass vases (I recommend Ikea or the Dollar Store)
- Rubber bands
- Desired color/frost or glitter spray (Michaels Crafts or Walmart sells the Krylon Glitter Blast and clear coat spray for less)
- Clear coat spray
Instructions:
- Place rubberbands around vases in desired pattern

- Spray vases with an even coat of paint. We used Krylon Glitter Blast spray in Diamond Dust.

- Once the paint dries remove the rubber bands.

- Spray on a final clear coat and let it dry.
- Use vases for flowers or candle holders.

Have fun!

Such a cute idea for summer! How do you like the Glitter Blast spray?
The glitter spray worked great!
I wouldn’t have guessed it was that simple to make! They really turned out great.
Thanks! I was really happy with the finished project.
