Spicy Pumpkin Seeds

It’s close to Halloween and many of us are carving pumpkins. Here is a way to turn those pumpkin seeds into a tasty snack.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees

1/8 cup or so of brown sugar
1 tablespoons of paprika
1/2 tablespoon cumin
1/2 tablespoon of Cayenne pepper
1/2 tablespoon Jonny’s Seasoning Salt
A couple turns of fresh ground black pepper

Mix above ingredients together in a bowl or ziplock bag.

Wash pumpkin seeds in a strainer and clean out all of the pumpkin guts.

Let the seeds dry in the strainer over night.

Mix slightly moist seeds in a bag with the seasoning mixture.

Spread seeds out on aluminum foil on a cookie sheet and bake for 15-20 minuets or until seeds are at desired color.
