Black Milk: Take My Money!

Black Milk: Take My Money!

By: Terra Clarke Olsen

People can get pretty protective over the things they nerd out on, acting as if they should be the only person imgresallowed to represent “__insert-nerd-passion-here__”.  Well this is just silly, since in reality you should want mooore people to nerd out with you. More people nerding out, means a larger fan base, which then results in a large merch base. Meaning more swag for you to buy! And you should be extremely happy if one of those nerdy things gets picked up by Black Milk, because everything they make is gold! EVERYTHING.

Based out of Australia, Black Milk makes clothing for women, specializing in leggings, swimwear, dresses, and jumpsuits. They have cool, funky patterns that scream with excitement. Although they are all drool worthy, Black Milk’s nerdy collections are AMAZING.

Example A: Star Wars

But it goes beyond the basic nerdy franchises.

Science nerd? Try out these Periodic Table leggings! Or how about Circuit Board Leggings?

History nerd? Try these Napoleon leggings.

And of course, can’t forget about our archeology nerds!

And get ready, they are counting down the HOURS until their Mass Effect line is released! 😀 I know it’s going to be good….

Besides creating awesome designs and clothes that fit amazingly (I have the R2D2 swimsuit, and it is the first one piece that has ever fit me), they also have A+ customer service. I emailed them asking for sizing advice and they responded in less than 24 hrs. In addition, they post photos of real ladies wearing their clothes. Pretty nifty. My one complaint is that they need to have more model diversity – skin and size. You can see via Instagram and Facebook that their fan-base is diverse, so they should consider actually  reflecting it. Overall though, great company with an interesting history.

Check them out, but don’t blame me if you end up spending way too much money.
